Box Score Virginia Union University's Ambryanna Moore had nine kills while teammate Natalia Gascot had 12 defensive digs to lead the Lady Panthers to a 25-22, 25-19, 25-16 sweep of Salem International University on Tuesday, September 8, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Arianna Bethel had nine kills while Moore, Chelan Wangus and Esha Atkins had three service aces apiece.

Atkins also led the Lady Panthers with 28 assists.

VUU's Fernanda Faustino and Wongus had 10 defensive digs apiece.

The win raised VUU's record to 2-3 on the season while Salem International fell to 3-3.

Virginia Union now travels to Winston-Salem, N.C., to compete in the CIAA Volleyball Round-Up.  The Lady Panthers will meet Livingstone College and Winston-Salem State University on Saturday, September 19.
