Virginia Union University's Ashlee Franklin has been named the CIAA Setter of the Week, the CIAA announced on Tuesday, October 15.

Frankline, a junior from Stafford, Va., who is majoring in Social Work, had 42 assists, 24 digs, 4 aces, 10 kills for the Lady Panthers this past week.

"I am so proud of Ashlee being named Setter of the Week," said VUU Head Volleyball Coach Danielle Perry.  "She has done a great job helping to lead our offense."

Virginia Union will face Bluefield State University at 6:00 p.m. On Thursday, October 17, in Bluefield, W.V.
