Box Score Virginia Union University's Ambryanna Moore had 10 kills and three service aces, but Virginia State University outlasted the Lady Panthers 25-18, 20-25, 31-29, 25-16 on Monday, October 19, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Esha Atkins had 28 assists.

Atkins, along with teammates Fernanda Faustino and Nicole Logan had 11 defensive digs apiece in the match.

The loss gives VUU a 7-8 record overall and 5-3 in the CIAA.  Virginia State is 11-7 overall and 7-2 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now travels to Murfreesboro, N.C., to face Chowan University at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25.
