Box Score Virginia Union University's Kristin Madison recorded 14 kills, but Chowan University defeated the Lady Panthers 22-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-18 on Sunday, October 19, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Esha Atkins had 33 assists and 13 defensive digs in the match.

Virginia Union's Ellie Parsons led the Lady Panthers with 15 defensive digs.

The loss dropped VUU to 8-12 overall and 7-5 in the CIAA.  Chowan is now 19-5 overall and 12-2 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now faces Lincoln University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
