Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 Virginia Union University's Kristal Woodard collected 24 kills in three matches in the CIAA Round-Up I, held the weekend of September 15-16 in Lincoln University, Pa., but VUU fell 3-1 to Shaw University, 3-0 to Saint Augustine's University and 3-0 to Fayetteville State University.

Woodard gathered four kills in VUU's 18-25, 25-21, 25-22, 27-25 loss to Shaw Univerisity.  VUU's Allorie Sanders had nine kills while teammate Ellie Parsons had 10 digs in the match.

Woodard then had a season-high 12 kills in VUU's 25-22, 25-21, 27-25 loss to Saint Augustine's.  Sanders had nine digs while also having 14 assists.

In the final match, Woodard had eight kills, but VUU lost to Fayetteville State 25-21, 25-13, 25-16.  Sanders also had 13 assists in the match.

VUU is now 0-12 on the season and 0-4 in CIAA play.

The Lady Panthers now return home to Barco-Stevens Hall to face Lincoln University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20.
