Virginia Union University will host the opening roundup of the 2026 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Flag Football season when seven conference teams travel to Richmond for two days of competition on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7.
The games will be played at Hovey Field and the band field adjacent to Barco–Stevens Hall on the Virginia Union campus.
The Lady Panthers will open play on Friday with three games at Hovey Field. Virginia Union faces Claflin University at 12:00 p.m., followed by a 1:00 p.m. matchup with Livingstone College. VUU will then meet Winston-Salem State University at 2:00 p.m.
Action continues Saturday when the Lady Panthers face Johnson C. Smith University at 12:00 p.m. at Hovey Field.
Admission to all games is free and open to the public.
