Virginia Union University's Ny Langley scored 22 points while teammate Darryn Ziegler added 20 points, but East Stroudsburg University defeated the Lady Panthers 67-59 on the first day of the PSAC-CIAA Conference Challenge in Millersville, Pa., on Saturday, November 12.

"We played a tough East Stroudsburg team tonight and just did not get enough defensive stops as a team," said VUU Head Women's Basketball Coach Tierra Terry.  "We need to significantly improve on the defense end as we prepare for Millersville tomorrow. Ny Langley had an impressive double with 22 points and 22 rebounds and Darryn Zeigler had a 20-point contribution. We just did not pull it through. We have to focus on the improvements we can make for tomorrow's game."

Virginia Union will now face Millersville University on the second day of the PSAC-CIAA Conference Challenge at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, in Millersville, Pa.
