The Virginia Union University women's basketball team closed out its final home game of the regular season with a convincing 85-67 victory over Bluefield State University on Wednesday evening at Barco-Stevens Hall. The Lady Panthers showcased scoring depth and strong defensive pressure, earning an important conference win.

Virginia Union controlled the tempo throughout the contest, effectively handling defensive pressure and capitalizing on scoring opportunities both in the paint and from the perimeter to secure the 18-point victory.
The Lady Panthers now turn their attention to the regular-season finale against Virginia State University on Saturday, February 21, in Petersburg, Va.
