Box Score Virginia Union University's Ny Langley scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds as the Lady Panthers defeated Saint Augustine's University 81-77 on Monday, January 17, in Raleigh, N.C.

VUU's Darryn Zeigler scored 18 points and teammate Taniah Johnson scored 14 points.

Virginia Union's Ceanna Kinney added 10 points to round out the double-figure scoring for VUU.
"Tonight was a great team win against a tough Saint Augustine's team," said VUU Head Women's Basketball Coach Tierra Terry.  "We stayed consistent and stayed together until the end. We had four players in double digits, 11 assists, and shot 50% from the 3-point line. We will continue to work on limiting our turnovers and continually learning from game to game. We are so proud of our young women tonight and now it is time to start prepping for our game at Bowie State on Wednesday night."

Virginia Union now travels to Bowie, Md., to face Bowie State University at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19.
