The Panther Sports Report, a weekly radio show focusing on Virginia Union University Athletics, will premiere at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 5, on WRIR (97.3 FM).
 
The half-hour radio show, although focusing on all things dealing with VUU Athletics and hosted by Virginia Union Sports Information Director Jim Junot, it will also provide an opportunity for the entire VUU community to tell about the many exciting things happening at the University.

Dr. Alvin Parker, VUU Head Football Coach, will be the first guest on the show.
 
WRIR-LP 97.3 FM is an all-volunteer, nonprofit community radio station. It is the largest low power FM station of its kind in the country.
 
WRIR's volunteers run the station. That includes everyone from the President of the Board to the newest potential member to walk in the front door, including the people behind the mic or the ones keeping the lights on and the broadcast on air.
 
The station's FM broadcast range encompasses the Richmond areas while also broadcasting online worldwide and through popular services like iHeartRadio and devices like Amazon's Alexa.
 
The Panther Sports Report will air each Monday at 12:30 p.m.
