Virginia Union University's Terrell Leach and Jordan Peebles have been named to the All-CIAA Men's Basketball Team while teammate Charles Tart III was named to the CIAA All-Rookie Team, it was announced on Monday, February 24, in Charlotte, N.C.

Leach, a senior guard from High Point, N.C., was second in the CIAA in scoring with CIAA with a 23.6 scoring average.  Leach was also third in the CIAA with 40 steals in 2019-20.

Peebles, a junior forward from Emporia, Va., led VUU with an average of 7.9 rebounds per game while being second on the team with a 12.0 points per game.

Tart, a freshman guard from Richmond, Va, averaged 4.3 points per game this year for the Panthers, including scoring a career-high 17 points in VUU's win over Bowie State.

Virginia Union will begin play in the 2020 CIAA Tournament at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C.
