Virginia Union University's Sabrina Connor recorded a sweep at #1 singles and then paired with teammate Michaela Mondesir to take a 7-5 win at #1 doubles to propel VUU to a 5-2 win over Bowie State University in women's tennis home finale on Sunday, April 7, at Battery Park in Richmond, Va.
 
Connor swept her matches at #1 singles 6-2, 6-1.
 
VUU's Alyssa White won at #3 singles 6-1, 6-0, and then paired with Joydan Parker to win at #2 singles 6-1.
 
Virginia Union's Lynda Kaneza won at #5 singles 7-6, 5-1, and then teamed up with Zsakee Crocker to post a 6-2 win at #3 singles.
 
Virginia Union wraps up the 2019 regular season when the Lady Panthers travel to Elizabeth City, N.C., to face Elizabeth City State University at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9.
