Alexis Johnson scored a career-high 30 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead the ninth-ranked Lady Panthers to an 85-65 win over Fayetteville State University 85-65 on Saturday, January 6, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
The 30 points beat her previous career high of 28 points, set against Ashland University in last season's national championship game.
The win was also the 13th straight for the Lady Panthers, their third-longest win streak in the program's history.

Rachael Pecota and
Shameka McNeill scored 15 points apiece in the win while
Shareka McNeill added 10 points.
The win also kept Virginia Union undefeated in the CIAA with a 5-0 conference record while being 13-1 overall.
Fayetteville State dropped to 4-8 on the season and 0-4 in CIAA games.
Virginia Union will now play host to Saint Augustine's University at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 8, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
