Alexis Johnson came off the bench and scored 25 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as the ninth-ranked Lady Panthers won their 12th straight game by downing Shaw University 93-76 on Thursday, January 4, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

The 52 rebounds tied the highest total for the Lady Panthers this season. VUU also had 52 rebounds against Edinboro.
VUU is now 12-1 overall and 4-0 in the CIAA. Shaw fell to 3-11 overall and 1-2 in the CIAA.
