Box Score Virginia Union University's Rachael Pecota scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as VUU won its 18th straight game, downing Lincoln (Pa.) University 68-51 on Wednesday, January 24, in Lincoln University, Pa.

The 18-game win streak equals the longest in the program's history.  Last year's squad won 18 straight games also.

It also marked the first home loss for the Lady Lions this season.

VUU's Alexis Johnson scored 12 points while freshman Shameka McNeill added 10 points.

Virginia Union's Rejoice Spivey dished off a team-high eight assists and scored nine points.

The Lady Panthers are now 18-1 on the season and 9-0 in the CIAA.  Lincoln fell to 12-5 overall and 7-2 in CIAA play.

VUU now returns home to face Elizabeth City State University at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
