Box Score Virginia Union University's Jasmine Carter and Rachael Pecota both recorded double-doubles as the tenth-ranked Lady Panthers cruised to their seventh straight win by defeating the University of the District of Columbia 83-59 on Wednesday, November 29, in Washington, D.C.

Carter had a career-high 21 points and 10 rebounds while Pecota scored 16 points while grabbing 13 rebounds.

VUU's Kishona Sutton had a team-high six steals while teammate Rejoice Spivey dished off six assists.

The win raised Virginia Union's record to 7-1 on the season while UDC fell to 2-4.

Virginia Union now opens the CIAA regular-season when the Lady Panthers travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., to face Winston-Salem State University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 14.
