Jasmine Carter led the Lady Panthers with 14 points and 11 rebounds as VUU defeated Gannon University 65-51 on Saturday, November 25, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
Both marks were career highs for the redshirt junior from Richmond's John Marshall High School.

Rachael Pecota and
Shareka McNeill scored 13 points apiece while Pecota went 8-for-8 from the free throw line and grabbed eight rebounds.
Virginia Union's
Alexis Johnson had 12 points and six blocks. Johnson is currently second in the nation in blocks with 24.
The win was the sixth straight for the Lady Panthers and raised VUU's record to 6-1. Gannon fell to 3-3.
Virginia Union now hits the road, traveling to Washington, D.C., to face the University of the District of Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29.
