Box Score Virginia Union University's James Paige scored 16 points to lead the Panthers to a 65-52 win over Post University on the first day of the VUU Holiday Inn I-64 West End Classic, held on Saturday, November 19, in Historic Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Tavon Mealy added 14 points while teammate John Mitchell scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the win.

Virginia Union's Ray Anderson also scored 13 points and Kory Cooley dished off eight assists.

The win kept VUU unbeaten with a 4-0 overall record.

Post University fell to 0-4.

In the second game, Washington Adventist University defeated Elizabeth City State University 70-59.

The VUU Holiday Inn I-64 West End Classic concludes on Sunday, November 20, when Elizabeth City State meets Post at 2:00 p.m. and VUU hosts Washington Adventist at 4:00 p.m. in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
