Box Score Virginia Union University's Kiana Johnson scored 23 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Lady Panthers to an 86-57 win over Elizabeth City State University on Wednesday, January 27, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

The game was the 14th win for the 20th-ranked Lady Panthers, the most wins for a women's VUU basketball team since the 2003-04 team won 24 games.  

VUU's Lady Walker also garnered a double-double of her own by scoring 15 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in the win.

Virginia Union's Taylor White and Jasalyn Denkins scored 10 points apiece in the win.

The win raised VUU's record to 14-2 overall and 6-2 in the CIAA.  Elizabeth City State dropped to 5-12 overall and 2-7 overall.

VUU now travels to Murfreesboro, N.C., where the Lady Panthers will take on Chowan University in a game which could determine who will win the Northern Division title in the CIAA.  The teams tip off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30.
