Box Score Virginia Union University's Lady Walker scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Lady Panthers downed Bowie State University 87-51 on Wednesday, January 20, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Kiana Johnson scored 17 points and dished off 13 assists in the win.

Virginia Union's Taylor White added 13 points in the game and pulled down nine boards of her own.

The win raised the Lady Panthers to 13-1 on the season and 5-1 in the CIAA.  VUU is tied with Chowan University for first place in the Northern Division of the CIAA with a 2-0 divisional record.

Bowie State fell to 9-9 overall and 2-6 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now travels to Lincoln University to face the Lions at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, in Lincoln University, Pa.
