Box Score Virginia Union University's Lady Walker had a career night with 35 points and 20 rebounds as the 7th-ranked Lady Panthers defeated Saint Augustine's University 102-53 on Monday, January 11, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Walker hit 14 of 23 shots from the field as VUU raised their record to 11-1 on the season and 3-1 in the CIAA.

VUU's Kiana Johnson scored 27 points and dished off a school-record 17 assists. Johnson broke the record of 15, held by Nofortiria Grant vs. District of Columbia (Jan. 9, 1999).


Virginia Union's Taylor White recorded a double-double of her own with 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Saint Augustine's dropped to 3-12 overall and 0-5 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union continues the home stand with a match-up with CIAA rival Virginia State University at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
