Box Score Virginia Union University's Taylor Hamilton has been named to the 2015 CIAA All-Tournament Team, the CIAA announced on Sunday, May 3.

Hamilton, a junior from Willingboro, N.J., homered three times to lead VUU to an 11-1 win over Johnson C. Smith in the 2015 CIAA Tournament.

Hamilton had five hits and six RBIs in the three tournament games.

Winston-Salem State University ended the Lady Panthers' tournament run when the Rams defeated VUU 4-1 on Sunday, May 3, in Charlotte, N.C.

VUU finished with a 16-11 record, marking the most wins for a Virginia Union softball team since the 1988 team won a school-record 19 games.
