COACH'S QUOTE
"In game one we got off to a little bit of a slow start, but we picked it up in each inning and never let up," said VUU Head Softball Coach Dominique Mulero. "We had aggressive baserunning and quality at bats! In game two we had the same start, but we found the spark when needed! I think our dugout and their energy played a big part into our success today! Every player today contributed to our wins! We had two big pitching performances from Skylar Rosenbalm and Elisia Gonzalez-Pettis, both commanding the zone and staying very composed on the mound. I told them beating a team four times in one season is difficult, but we continue to find ways to put more wins in the column."

UP NEXT
Virginia Union will now travel to Bluefield, W.Va., for a CIAA Northern Division doubleheader at Bluefield State University on Friday, April 24 as the Panthers aim to keep pace in the conference standings.
