Box Score Virginia Union University's softball team saluted the only senior on the 2015 team, Quincy Lewis, during the senior day festivities at the VUU Softball Field on Saturday, April 25, in Richmond, Va.

VUU lost 5-0 to Virginia State University in the first game of the scheduled double-header, but the second game was suspended after one half-inning of play and then postponed due to rain.

In the first game, VUU's Marisha Bates had two hits, including a double.  Lewis struck out two over seven innings of work in the game.

Virginia Union is now 15-7 overall and 6-3 in the CIAA Northern Division.  The Lady Panthers travel to Petersburg, Va., to face VSU in a non-conference double-header beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26.
