Virginia Union University's Ellie Parsons and Logan Reid, playing at #1 doubles, won three sets, but Virginia State University defeated VUU 9-0 in women's tennis action at Battery Park in Richmond, Va., on Tuesday, March 31.

Parsons and Reid lost the game 8-3.

In singles action, Parsons won three sets, losing 6-2, 6-1 at #1 doubles.

VUU's Tyianna Johnson was the only other Lady Panther to win a set, losing 6-1, 6-0, at #6 singles.

The Lady Panthers travel to Washington, D.C., to play Trinity Washington University at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1.
