Box Score Virginia Union University's Taylor White scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Lady Panthers to a 59-55 win over Bowie State University on Wednesday, February 11, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

White hit seven of eight shots from the field and also tied for team-high honors with seven rebounds.  VUU's Jasmin Dancy also had seven boards.

Dancy also scored 15 points in the win.

VUU's Ashle Freeman scored 11 points and had four steals in the game.

The win raised VUU's record to 7-14 overall and 3-9 in the CIAA.  The loss dropped Bowie State to 9-13 overall and 4-9 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now travels to Lincoln University, Pa., to face Lincoln University at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14.
