Box Score Virginia Union University got 21 points from Ashle Freeman and double-doubles from Jasmin Dancy and Taylor White to cruise past Elizabeth City State University 66-55 on Wednesday, January 28, in Elizabeth City, N.C.

White scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win while Dancy scored 10 points and pulled down 10 boards.

VUU's ShaHadah Barrett had 11 rebounds and dished out six assists for the Lady Panthers.

Freeman also had a game-high eight steals in the contest.

The win raised VUU's record to 6-12 overall and 2-7 in CIAA play.  Elizabeth City State dropped to 7-12 overall and 2-8 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now returns home to face Chowan University at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
