Box Score Virginia Union University's Lady Walker had 10 rebounds, but Virginia State University defeated the Lady Panthers 64-38 on Saturday, January 17, in Petersburg, Va.

VUU's Ashle Freeman led the Lady Panthers with 12 points and was the only VUU player to reach double-figures.

Virginia Union's Taylor White had nine rebounds in the game.

The loss dropped VUU to 5-10 overall and 1-5 in the CIAA.  Virginia State is now 11-5 overall and 3-3 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now travels to Bowie, Md., to face Bowie State University at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21.
