Virginia Union University had it's men's tennis season end when Virginia State University defeated the Panthers 5-0 on the first day of the CIAA Men's Tennis Tournament on Thursday, April 17, at the VSU Tennis Complex in Petersburg, Va.

VUU's Jaymes Berry lost his singles match 6-1, 6-0 while VUU's Kareem Burrows lost 6-0, 6-0.

Virginia Union also lost all three doubles matches.

VUU ends the 2014 season with a 2-12 record.
