Box Score 1 Virginia Union University's Shermanda Fambro and Chan'Tey Mack drove in four runs apiece as the Lady Panthers downed Lincoln University 23-7 in the opening game of a double-header on Saturday, April 12, in Lincoln University, Pa.

The 23 runs marked the most runs scored by a VUU team in six years.  The Lady Panthers scored 25 runs against Saint Paul's College on March 11, 2008.

VUU's Danielle McEachern drove in three runs while Mack, Fambro, Shireese Borden, Shaquandra Brown and Shakia Mackey scored three times apiece.

In the second game, the Lady Panther hit parade continued as VUU completed the sweep by defeating Lincoln 17-3.

In the night-cap, Mackey drove in three runs while scoring three times herself.

The double-header sweep raised VUU's record to 9-11 overall and 9-7 in CIAA play. 

The Lady Panthers now travel to Elizabeth City State University to face the Vikings at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, in Elizabeth City, N.C.
