Virginia Union University's Michael Anthony won his singles match, but the was the only win on the day as Chowan defeated VUU in men's tennis 8-1 on Monday, March 31, at Battery Park in Richmond, Va.

Anthony won his match 7-6, 6-4.

VUU now faces Southern Virginia University on Wednesday, April 2, at Battery Park.
