Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 Virginia Union University's Danielle McEachern recorded two wins as the Lady Panthers softball team went 3-3 at the CIAA Round-Up, held March 22-24 in Raleigh, N.C.

McEachern allowed just one earned run over seven innings of work while teammate Renesha Chiles slugged a three-run homer as VUU defeated host Shaw University 9-2 on Saturday, March 22.

McEachern earned her second win as she and Quincy Lewis teamed up to strike out eight batters to give VUU a 5-4 win over Livingstone College on Monday, March 24.  VUU's Tyana Daniels tied the game in the bottom of the sixth inning with a dramatic home run before Lewis scored the eventual winning run.

Lewis picked up a win of her own by shutting out Fayetteville State University 8-0 on Sunday, March 23.  Lewis scattered six hits over seven innings of work while Chiles and Shamanda Fambro each drove in a pair of runs.

VUU lost to Johnson C. Smith 9-7, Saint Augustine's University 16-3 and to Winston-Salem State University 3-2.

Virginia Union is now 3-9 on the season and now travels to Lincoln University, Pa., to face Lincoln University at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29.
