Virginia Unon University's doubles team of Kiara Miller and Ellie Parsons won their match 8-2 while the doubles team of Katrina Joe and Deja Shabazz won 8-1 as VUU swept Livingstone College 5-0 on the first day of the VUU Tennis Round-Up on Saturday, March 15, at Battery Park in Richmond, Va.

VUU's team of DeJamine Byrson and Christionne Taylor won their doubles match by default.

In singles matches, Shabazz won her match when Tenesha Dickerson of Livingstone had to retired because of an injury.

Virginia Unon also lost to Johnson C. Smith 2-7 and then lost to Winston-Salem State 6-3.

VUU now hosts Virginia State University on at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at Battery Park in Richmond, Va.
