Virginia Union University's Anthony Michael won his match at #1 singles 6-1, 6-2 over Darrell Sawyer to lead the Panthers to a 5-4 win over the Golden Bulls on Saturday, March 15, at the VUU Round-Up in Battery Park in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Jaymes Berry won his match at #3 singles by downing Dion Chever 6-4, 7-5.

Virginia Union Terrence Malone won his match at #6 singles 6-0, 6-0, over Hazel Vasquez of JCSU.

In doubles action, VUU's team of Michael and Jarvis Rideau won 8-2 while the team of Malone and Charles Sheets won their match 8-4.

VUU also lost to Johnson C. Smith 6-3 and lost to Winston-Salem State 6-3 and 7-2.

VUU now hosts Virginia State University at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at Battery Park in Richmond, Va.
