Box Score Virginia Union University's Ashle Freeman became only the third Lady Panther to score more than 1,500 points in a career as she tallied 26 points, but the University of the District of Columbia defeated VUU 79-61 on Monday, December 15, in Washington, D.C.

Freeman now has 1,509 career points, trailing only Marquietta Randolph (1,564 points) and Barvenia Wooten-Cherry (1,534 points) among the all-time Lady Panther scoring leaders.

VUU's Taylor White had 18 points while teammate Lady Walker grabbed 14 rebounds in the game.

The loss dropped Virginia Union to 4-5 on the season while District of Columbia is now 8-2.

Virginia Union will return to Historic Barco-Stevens Hall to meet Livingstone College at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3.
