Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson scored 33 points, but the All-Army Team pulled out an 80-78 exhibition win over the Panthers to spoil new coach Tony Sheals' debut on Tuesday, November 4, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's D'Andre Bullard added 16 points in the game while Karo Adjekughele had a team-high nine rebounds.

The All-Army Team was paced by Ella Ellis' 18 points.

VUU begins the official 2014-15 season when the Panthers travel to Institute, W.V., to compete in the Earl Lloyd Classic.  VUU will face West Virginia State University at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, and then Notre Dame College of Ohio at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 16.
