Box Score Virginia Union University's ShaHadah Barrett had a double-double as VUU defeated The Apprentice School 101-48 on Wednesday, November 26, in Newport News, Va.

Barrett scored 24 points and had 10 rebounds as the Lady Panthers won their third straight game.

VUU's Ashle Freeman led the Lady Panthers with 28 points and dished off nine assists.  

Virginia Union's Taylor White had 24 points while Virginia Union's Lady Walker also scored 12 points in the win.

The game also marked the first time a VUU women's basketball team scored more than 100 points in a single game since the Lady Panthers downed Allen University 108-33 in 1998.

The win raised VUU's record to 3-1 on the season while Apprentice dropped to 2-3 overall.

The Lady Panthers now travel to Baltimore, Md., to face Division I Coppin State University at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29.
