Box Score Virginia Union University's Ashle Freeman scored 20 points, but Lincoln University hung on to defeat the Lady Panthers 65-63 on Saturday, January 25, in Lincoln University, Pa.

VUU's Melyse Brown and Jasmin Dancy scored 11 points apiece in the game, while Virginia Union's Lady Walker added 10 points in the game.

VUU's ShaHadah Barrett led the Lady Panthers on the boards with nine rebounds.

The loss dropped the Lady Panthers to 4-13 overall and 1-8 in the CIAA. Lincoln is now 11-8 overall and 4-5 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now returns home to Barco-Stevens Hall to face Elizabeth City State University at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, in Richmond, Va.
