Virginia Union University's women's tennis team was defeated in the CIAA Tournament 5-0 on Thursday, April 18, at Virginia State University in Petersburg, Va.

VUU's Kiara Miller lost her singles match 6-0, 6-1 while Katrina Joe lost 6-0, 6-1.

The doubles team of Miller/Ellie Parsons lost 8-0 and the team of Joe/Deja Shabazz lost 8-1.

The doubles team of DeJamine Byrson/Ernisa McClendon lost 8-0.

The Lady Panthers end their season with a 10-11 record.
