Quincy Lewis allowed just two earned runs while driving in three runs as the Lady Panthers christened the new VUU Softball Field with a 15-4 win over Livingstone College in the opening game of the CIAA Softball Round-Up on Saturday, March 9, in Richmond, Va.
Lewis scattered four hits and struck out two over four innings.

In the Lady Panthers' second game, Winston-Salem State University defeated VUU 9-0 in a near-perfect game by WSSU's Brittany Lane.

VUU is 1-1 overall and 1-1 in the CIAA. Livingstone is now 3-4 overall and 1-4 in CIAA play. Winston-Salem State is 13-11 overall and 7-0 in CIAA play.
