Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 Virginia Union University's Shermanda Fambro homered at the CIAA North/South Division Round-Up, but the Lady Panthers came away with an 0-3 record in the games played on Thursday, March 21, in Fayetteville, N.C.

The round-up games, originally scheduled to be played in Lincoln University, Pa., were moved to Fayetteville because of weather issues earlier in the season.

In the first game, VUU's Shakia Macker drove in three runs, but Shaw University defeated the Lady Panthers 10-7.

In the second game, Virginia Union's Shaquandra Brown drove in a pair of runs on two hits, including a double, but Fayetteville State University beat VUU 16-4.

In the third and final game of the day, Fambro homered and Renesha Chiles had three hits, including a double, but VUU lost to Saint Augustine's University 15-5.

The losses dropped VUU's record to 3-4 overall and in the CIAA.

The Lady Panthers now return home to face Lincoln (Pa.) University in a double-header beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, at the VUU Softball Field in Richmond, Va.
