Box Score Virginia Union University's Kristina Caldwell collected three hits and drove in three runs to power VUU to an 8-3 win over Johnson C. Smith University on the second day of the North/South CIAA Round-Up, held on Sunday, March 10, at the VUU Softball Field in Richmond, Va.

Caldwell had two singles and a double in the win.

VUU's Quincy Lewis struck out six en route to her second win of the year.

Virginia Union is now 2-1 on the season and in CIAA play.  

VUU now faces the University of Charleston in a double-header at the VUU Softball Field at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, in Richmond, Va.
