Box Score Virginia Union University's Ashle Freeman scored 18 points, but Fayetteville State University ended the Lady Panthers' 2012-13 season by defeated VUU 71-57 in the CIAA tournament semi-finals on Friday, March 1, in the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C.

VUU's Danielle Ferguson recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds while Melyse Brown added 11 points for the Lady Panthers.

The loss gave VUU a final 13-14 season record while Fayetteville State is now 24-4.

Fayetteville State was led by Shuanda Ashford's 23 points and Tierra Coleman's 12 rebounds.
