Box Score Virginia Union University's women's basketball team said good-bye to it's lone senior, Parress Davis, as the Lady Panthers lost 69-66 to Elizabeth City State University on Wednesday, February 20, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Davis scored 11 points in the game for the Lady Panthers.

VUU was led by by Ashle Freeman's 23 points while teammate Melyse Brown added 14 points.

Virginia Union's ShaHadah Barret added 11 points.

Barret had nine rebounds to lead the Lady Panthers on the boards.

Elizabeth City State was led by Jasmine Whitehurst and Ya'Shonti Bridgers, who scored 11 points apiece.

The loss dropped VUU to 12-12 overall and 9-6 in the CIAA.  ECSU is now 22-3 overall and 14-1 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union finishes the 2012-13 regular season on Saturday, February 20, when the Lady Panthers take on Chowan University at 2:00 p.m. in Murfreesboro, N.C.
