Panthers Get Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Box Score Virginia Union University's Wesley Simmons scored a team-high 22 points while teammate Ken Pankey added 17 points as VUU downed Washington Adventist University 86-72 in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va., on Monday, February 11.

VUU's Kimar Johnson scored 13 points while senior Juan Wilson added 12 points in the win.

The victory was the fifth in the last six games for Virginia Union.

VUU's Calvin Brown, Omar Briggs and Johnson all had six rebounds to lead the Panthers on the board.

The win raised Virginia Union's record to 8-12 overall. 

Washington Adventist was led by Harvey Todd's 33 points.

The Shock fell to 8-16 on the season.
