Box Score Virginia Union University's Omar Briggs scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, but Morehouse College defeated VUU 70-64 on the second day of the Double Header Classic on Saturday, November 9, in Atlanta, Ga.

Briggs hit nine of 16 shots from the field while teammate Ray Anderson scored 12 points in the game.

VUU's Gerard Dean-McBride led the Panthers with three steals.

The loss dropped Virginia Union to 0-2 on the season while Morehouse is now 1-1.

VUU now travels to Norfolk, Va., to face Norfolk State University at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15.
