Box Score GLENVILLE, W.V. -- Virginia Union University's ShaHadah Barret scored 19 points, but #26 Glenville State College defeated the Lady Panthers 117-88 in the opening round of the Glenville State Women's Basketball Open on Friday, November 8, in Glenville, W.V.

The game was the season-opener for both teams.

VUU's Carla Cowherd scord 18 points while teammate Denesha Tatum scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Virginia Union's Lady Walker also had a "double-double" with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Glenville State was paced by Tiffani Huffman's 25 points.

The Lady Panthers will face #29 West Liberty University at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, in Glenville, W.V.
