The Virginia Union University's women's basketball team will open the 2013-14 season by travelling to Glenville, W.V., to compete in the Glenville State Women's Basketball Open on Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9.

On Friday, the Lady Panthers will tip-off against #26 Glenville State College at 7:00 p.m. Last season, VUU lost by just seven points to the Pioneers 90-83.

On Saturday, VUU will play #29 West Liberty University at 5:30 p.m.  The Lady Hilltoppers topped the Lady Panthers by a mere five points (71-66) last season.

VUU opens the home season when the Lady Panthers meet the University of the District of Columbia at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, in Historic Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
