Box Score Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson scored a team-high 21 points to lead VUU to a 68-62 win over previously-unbeaten Saint Leo University on the first day of the Saint Leo Ames Classic on Friday, November 22, in Saint Leo, Fla.

Anderson hit seven of nine shots from the field as the Panthers earned their first win of the season.

VUU's Omar Briggs led the team with 10 rebounds while teammate Gerard Dean-McBride scored 10 points in the win.

Virginia Union's TeQuan Alers had five blocks for the Panthers.

VUU is now 1-4 while Saint Leo drops to 5-1 on the season.

Virginia Union now takes on Rollins College at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, on the second day of the Saint Leo Ames Classic in Saint Leo, Fla.
