Box Score Virginia Union University's Omar Briggs scored 22 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, but Norfolk State University defeated the Panthers 92-84 on Friday, November 15, in Nofolk, Va.

Briggs also had a block and a steal in the game.

VUU's Avery Jirmnson and Ray Anderson scored 15 points apiece in the game.  

Virginia Union's Chadwick Church also had seven rebounds.

The loss dropped VUU to 0-3 on the season while Norfolk State is now 2-1.

VUU returns to Historic Barco-Stevens Hall to meet Johnson C. Smith University in a non-conference match-up on Wednesday, November 20, in Richmond, Va.  Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
